The idea came upon me for the name DrDadCamp in the early hours of Jun 25, 2020, while camping with my children at the Rocky Mountains National Park in Colorado.  It was a spark of an idea for an autobiography and private social media.  An upcoming photo of me smiling in my sunhat and sunglasses was intended, at the time, to be the icon representing this page.  
I was pleased to see today, at 430pm as I write this page, that the name DrDadCamp was available.

  8-7-2023 8am It is a useful reframe to think of these issues of estrangement and alienation, which arise mostly in (but not only in) divorce dynamics, as a feature, rather than a problem . This reframe helps us shift away from blame and negative thinking, to a feature to contend with and work through. Then one can go back and, again rather than blaming or making it personal, to realize that evil takes a hold of everyone and a hold of situations. It just is. Like weeds sprouting in a garden.
